Frame substitution recursion error Premiere Pro 2020 14.0.3

On the newest version of Prem Pro (14.0.3)

Recently built a new machine:

Threadripper 1920x

GTX660

Gigabyte Auros Pro

Corsiar Vengance RGB 32GB (Am getting suprisingly high usuage from this on premiere pro, 80-90%)

Sumsung 860 1TB m.2

Working in a 1080p 25fps timeline, nothing crazy.

My issue is with my project with canon .mxf files. Certain clips give me extended black frames through out the clip, (on and off every so often). Some clips with general glitchy colour shifting stripes across the frame. Tried importing from my drive and from card itself and through premieres media importer.

The main error I'm recieving is Frame substitution recursion error. All source files are fine played within VLC. Tried transcoding in media encoder and just getting failed transcodes. Used Adobe cleanup and reinstalled premiere pro. No luck.

Any one in the same boat or have advice?
