Freeform view, won't work

I desided to try out the free form view, but norhing happens.

I've put 15 multicam sequences in a bin, they show up in "list view" and "icon view", but when i click on freeform view its nothing there. It says the there is 15 items in the bin (see picture). The project was started yesterday, but is based on a copied project standard from premiere 2019.

I've tried:

- to see if its a visual bug by marking the whole empy bin and drag it down, it don't work.

- Open a other project, and test it, and it worked there.

- delete Cache, nothing happend.

- Restart computer.

I hope it's a simple fix, any ideas?

I looked for that when I tested it; and that is what makes the "15 items" so odd. Any view, for me, shows those x items. And non-matching folders show (and are counted). And when a bin is open (i.e. no bins to show), if there are no matches, it shows "0 items."

I'm wondering if there's a blank character entered in the Search bar? A space? As if so, you would have this problem and not be able to see what was wrong.

You're in a bin opened in place (not in a new tab), and I see the "15 items." Very odd.

I took a quick look. Freeform view is working normally for me in 25.0.0 in a project created in 25.0.0 and also in one from 24.6.1 opened/converted into 25.

Hello, thanks for your reply!

it worked in the older version of the project. The other project i tested (that worked), was a copy of the same standard project from a older version. I also tried to open the project i have issues with in premiere 2025, it didnt work there.
I also tested to open the project i Premiere 2025, and

Hi OlaKvam,

Sorry to hear about this. Is this happening only with the projects created in the older version of Premiere Pro? Do you have any other old projects to test that? We're here to help, just need more info.

Thanks,

Sumeet
