Freezing up Premier Pro

Im having difficulty exporting a project from Pr, it gets to about 60% and then freezes. This happened twice, and I couldn't even pull up the force quit on my imac. I contacted apple support, and after troubleshooting they directed me to contact Adobe support. I tried to export one more time and it froze at about 10%. When I say it froze, my entire imac froze up, and had to do a hard shut down. I'm running an iMac 27" 5k, 2TB fusion, i7 4.0, with 32GB ram, and 4gb gddr5.

I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with Adobe support. We went through everything and noticed that my preferences were corrupted. I still had a "titles" panel at the top of the frame even with the latest version of Pr. That pane isn't supposed to be there with the new titles selection where the timeline is. Once we reset my preferences, I was able to export my project and it started working again without freezing up.
