Full duration of video footage won't import into Premiere Pro

So I've been working with my friend putting together a skate video, filmed on miniDV tapes. I was using iMovie to capture, but now I have Premiere Pro. When I try to import the video clips I've captured to Premiere, all that goes through is the first 9.29 seconds of the clip, every time, no matter how long it is. I dug through forums but I couldn't really find any answers, I'm also pretty new to editing. I don't know what to do short of go back and re-capture all the footage from all the tapes in premiere. Help?
