Full screen output to a second monitor in Premiere Pro CS 5.5 without the gray borders

I realize that this question has been asked but I cannot find a good answer/solution to it. I am using Premiere Pro CS 5.5 with a 2016 macbook pro. I am running HDMI out of the macbook to an Atomos HDMI to HD-SDI video converter. I am running HD-SDI from the converter out into a TV Logic LVM-075A monitor. I want to output a complete full screen view of my project to the second monitor. I realize that (SHIFT + ~) can maximize the viewing window but there are still play/pause buttons at the bottom of the screen and an ugly gray border around the footage. When I go into my playback settings, the only option under external device is "DV: 29.97 720x480i."  I have also tried bypassing the Atomos video converter and going HDMI out from the macbook to HDMI in in the TV Logic Monitor. This doesn't help either. How can I output a complete full screen view (no buttons or borders) to the second monitor? I've been told that this feature is not possible and the maximized viewing window is as full screen as it gets but I have a hard time believing that you can't output a complete full screen picture to a second monitor with professional software like Premiere Pro. Thanks for everyone's help with this problem.

Hi Tommy,

Press Ctrl + `. However, that's likely a CS6, and later feature. Try it.

Thanks,

Kevin
