Full size screen on Mac

Hi, why can't i full size premiere, after effects and photoshop? In the max size the dock doesn't hide as it does in safari or Lightroom. I tried to drag it up from the desktop to the windows but it doesn't work. Help would be appreciated, thanks!

Are you asking about the Premiere Pro workspace or full screen playback of the Source or Program Monitor?

You can have the dock automatically hide by going to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Dock and checking the box for  Automatically Show and Hide Dock.

Now if you enlarge you workspace, the dock will slide away. To use the dock, hover your mouse at the bottom of the screen and it will temporarily return.

That helped but i think i wrote the question wrong. Whenever i full screen safari with the green point it creates a window that is no longer on the desktop, but on a different window which i can access swiping with 3 fingers, right? I can't do that with the apps i mentioned before, they always stay on the desktop and that's what's bothering me ;-)

I don't think that "full screen"  functionality is built into those apps.
