Genarts Sapphire licensing woes

As regards Saphire and the Mac ...

Genarts has decided to force those with the falsely named "permanent" licenses to have to throw away their permanent license if they want to keep their operating system current.

Since the Mac OS changed to El Capitan and later, your expensive "permanent" license for Saphire will no longer work. And you need El Capitan to upgrade to Premiere 2015.3 and later. The Saphire plug-ins are in their correct folder and they load, but the Saphire watermark now is printed over any effect or transition. When you go to re-install your license to try and clear this error, the Genarts warning falsely reports that "Your machine ID has changed - use the Saphire Plug-In Installer to re-install your plug-ins". When you follow this Genarts instruction, it does nothing to correct the problem Genarts has not corrected. And trying to reinstall the license you paid dearly for just puts you into a loop.

When you try and contact Genarts, they give you a message that they "... are in the middle of moving. Please click to get to an email form to request support."

Further investigation finds that Genarts permanent licenses will not work in the current and past Operating Systems.

You are now forced into either throwing away your "permanent" license and entering their subscription annual fee program, or rolling back 2 OS systems back and being stuck with old versions of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Extremely unprofessional and deceptive. Used to be a good product. Remember, this was a $1,000 + single user license that was sold as permanent. While I can understand not adding new features, it is very poor decisions to make the permanent license unusable when the platform OS changes.

What does Sapphire - The Essential Visual Effects Plugin Suite  have to do with Adobe?

Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects are the host programs that these plug-ins plug into.

When these Adobe programs require a new base platform OS, and your Genarts plug-in permanent license for the version you purchased no longer loads correctly because of Genarts decision to obsolete support for your version, you are out of luck.
