General bug fixes

Hi there!

Just a few quick things -

1. When opening a new project when an old one is open, please have only open the new project open, and not a combination of the 2.

2. bug - program and source monitor both sometimes go black after editing for a while.

3. tends to freeze and my monitor switches off and on again.

My system:

Ryzen 9 3900
Asus Tuf Gaming Pro B450
Gigabyte GTX 1650 OC 4GB GDDR5

Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) 3600MHz C18 DDR4

This is a user-to-user general support forum. With some oversight by Product Support staff, who aren't on or within the developer's system.

So for bugs, features and such, use their Premiere Pro UserVoice system. That is both logged in manually by at least one engineer into their system, and passed on in collated form to the all-important Marketing & Experience people who from their lofty towers well above mere development staff, use the magic of Metrics to determine what we users really need ... as perhaps opposed to what we only think we want ...

And they are the people with end control over changes in the app.

For no1: actually, it's a good feature to be able to open more than one project at a time. You can guess in which project you work by looking at the title bar of Premiere Pro. If you don't like to open more than one project at a time, just close the project (ctrl + shift + w) before opening another one.

well the first thing you mentioned concerning multi-project workflow

is not a bug but a long awaited feature requested by lots of video editors,

this saves us lot of time cross-working between several projects. You can

simply close a project or all projects and start a new one.

Monitors going on/off: try resetting the preferences, update your graphics card

to the latest, or maybe rolling back sometimes works.

Also check for third party plugins or screen recording software

that might be the culprit causing conflict.
