Getting disconnected from NAS when opening Premiere

Always seems to be fix 1 thing and break 2 other things on an update with Adobe, but this is latest Premiere update is by far the worst I've experienced.

Since the update we have been getting a load of errors (I have listed others below) but the one we are really struggling with is being disconnected from our NAS when opening Premiere, sometimes during working in the project.

We have 6 people editing and using Premiere and all our footage and projects are over network raids. This hasn't been a problem for us at all before the last update.

Has anyone else experienced this or do Adobe know a fix or why it's happening?

We are all on iMacs with 10G network connections. We are on Sierra but have tried on High Sierra too and the same issue.

From reading the other issues on this forum the line seems to be its our machines/setup that is the problem when it clearly wasn't an issue before updating. An update shouldn't result in companies having to change up their setup and trouble shoot a million things to get the program to do the thing its actually designed to do. The fact new releases get put out when clearly they don't work is pretty disgraceful.

A list of things we as a production company have experienced since the upgrade:

Error Retrieving Frame

General Error - couldn’t import clip (even when the clip has already been in the project and used fine the day before, or by another user)

Choppy playback on UHD and HD. I could playback UHD24fps ProRes444 fine without dropped frames before the update. Now I can't play HD of the same without dropped frames.

Searching for media when opening projects, even if project was just open.
