Getting file import errors. URGENT.

MBP-15-inch-2019, 32 Gbs, 8-core - Catelina 10.15.4, PP 14.0.4,  just upgraded to 14.0.4.  reopened project created in 14.0.  All .mov footage shows offline.  It hasn't moved or been touched since previous edit.  Tried to 'Link media', got error "The importer reported a generic error."  Tried to 'Replace Footage'. same error.  Then just tried to 'Import' the footage again and got 'The file has a unsupported compression type.'  Of course, it is standard .mov footage 1920x1080, 29.97.  So, I'm shutdown again.  Will try to uninstall and reinstall but don't have much hope for that.  This seems to be an ongoing problem since 13.
