I am having trouble with a computer, can figure out what it is. I have glitches in the playback as well as in the renders. Original files are ok. Glitches only happens in Premiere. Here is an example : DJI_0001 on Vimeo

I have done a lot of tests including :

- changing the graphic card

- Updating every driver / firmware

- Memtest86+

Any ideas ?

This is so frustrating. I have the same problem with all kinds of footage. It is driving me crazy. I have tried everything all the forums and YouTube tutorials have suggested like playing with the audio hardware settings. I have re-installed PremierePro. It’s a nightmare.

I have seen the same issue with H.264 source footage and the issue lies in the Importer in Premiere Pro that got broken some version ago. To solve it i bought TMPGEnc MPEG Smart Renderer 5 and re-wrap the clips that gives me trouble.

Premiere Pro/After Effects is the only app on my computer that has issues playing back the footage so the footage is ok and Adobe has trouble with it.

What are your complete computer specs?

What is your hard drive setup (how many, what kind, what is on each, and how full)?

Do you have any third party effects applied?

    What effects are applied?

If this is drone footage, you may need to transcode it before bringing into Premiere Pro.

You also may need to use proxies.
