Glitches with Legacy Title

Hi everyone,

 

I write as I have been experiencing the same glitch for the past three or four years (so from CC2016 to CC2020 - always up to date versions), on several computers, both macs and pcs, 

Basically, when I create a text with Legacy Title and move its Y axis of just 1, the 99% of the times instead of going to 101 it jumps with a jerky movement, going from a value of 100 to something like 2000.

I upload two videos that shows this. I hope they are clear enough.

 

Also, minor problem but still annoying (still experienced on many computers for years): when I open Legacy Title its panels are often messed up (see video), and I always have to enlrage the control panel and/or the canvas.

And understand ... that Legacy title is going to simply disappear any time now. Now that they have the tool added a couple months back for people to migrate graphics (much though not all) to the newer system ... we're definitely in "extra time" in soccer terms.

 

So any time spent making/modifying Legacy titles is pretty soon ... just gonna be gone. You'll be able to still use the graphics, but whether you'll be able to mod them anymore is not known.

Hey there!

 

A lot of this was fixed in Adobe for Apple Silicon. That being said I had some extreme glitches when I exported a file with texts, the best workaround was nesting all the legacy title layers.

Are you using the arrow keys when you select the Y position text? Have you tried just using the arrow keys with the text object selected but don't select the blue numbers? This should also allow you to move the text box - you don't need to click on the blue text.

Bare in mind the Legacy titler is just that, its there as a legacy and Adobe is focusing its attention on the new text and graphic tools in Premiere.

Hi, yes this happens both with arrows and with the cursos. 

 

I know Adobe is focusing on other things, but this is still a major issue. Many other editors I know they'be been experiencing the same.
