Global FX mute not effecting export of sequence

When exporting a sequence either from PPro or via AME my effects are still getting rendered even with Global FX turn off. I have to go into each clip and turn off fx manually.

If trashed prefs and cleared cache. All software and MacOS is current. Running on a Mac Pro.

Any suggestions? Thanks

The Global FX mute button only affects the program monitor/output. It does not affect renders.

You could duplicate your sequence, select all your clips, right-click, Remove Attributes and select your effects there. Note this does in fact remove the effect from your clips (hence the duplicating of the sequence.)
