Question

Go to previous marker shortcut not working (shift + ctrl + m)

I have been using Premiere Pro vers. 15.0 and the shift + ctrl + m to navigate my cursor to the previous marker does not work for me. I have since updated to 15.4 but it made no difference. Does any one else have this issue?

Is your marker in your clip or on your timeline?

If on the clip please click the right V1, V2 or V3 in the timeline where your clip is and make sure that it is selected or blue. Then retry the keyboard shortcut.

I have placed markers in the clip and the timeline.

The shortcut does not work anywhere, even if the clip is selected on the timeline.

If it works for other users, there must be something going on unique to my system.

Thanks anyway.

Hi Retinasoup,

Welcome to the Community.

The shortcut is working fine at my end. You can go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts and make sure if the shortcut is set up properly like in the screenshot.

If it doesn't help, try resetting the preferences. Here's how: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-premiere-pro/td-p/8236158

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu

Thanks for your reply.

I reset the preferences, but the shortcut still does not work.
