I have GoPro CFHD avi files that I cannot transcode in either PP or AME.

The sequence Will transcode to H264 Only if I select an In and Out point in AME.

It will NOT transcode to H264 if I select entire sequence.

it will NOT transcode to H264 if there are 2 or more CFHD files in a sequence.

The files are fine.. They play well.. I can edit fine... They will individually transcode no problem in a Non Adobe program.

But I cannot export a sequence.. Well I can export and it seems to work until the end and then gives an error..

Some suggestions:

Try updating or rolling back your video driver.

Try turning off GPU acceleration.

Try exporting directly fro Premiere Pro rather than AME.

Thanks for thoughts..

Try updating or rolling back your video driver.... Tried .. didn't work

Try turning off GPU acceleration....... tried didn't work

Try exporting directly fro Premiere Pro rather than AME...... tried.. didn't work

Also tried rolling back to PP version cc2015 and AME version  cc2015... still no luck

I have sent a copy of the files/sequence to Adobe support but as of now,  I am disappointed with the support from Adobe. Even though I demonstrated this issue from the remote access help, the customer service person accused me of not trusting them when I wanted to speak with a more advanced tech. I trust them, but the agent could not actually truly understand my problem and could not help me with my issue.

He said... "well just transcode to some other format"..

That kind of answer is just Not acceptable to me as a video professional and paying subscriber.

Please, as Product Support manager for all the DVA's Jevin Monahan stresses, any time you contact any Adobe help service, as soon as you get someone live, ask for the Video que. They will have at least some knowledge past a cheat sheet.

Still may not get stellar help, but it's better.
