GoPro footage renders laggy

Question

When I'm editing my GoPro timelapse footage on PremierePro, it plays back perfectly smooth, until I render it then the final video final is extremely choppy.

I've tried a few things but every test rendering I do comes out the same, even though it plays back fine on the editing software

Any fixes for this please??

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
