GPU Effects Error - Premiere Pro & After Effects

Hello, about a month ago, I started getting a “GPU Effects Error” in both Premiere Pro and After Effects. The first time was with a project that lasted about 10 minutes. Most of the clips were from a Sony A7III camera, 4K, 25fps, 8bit, H264. It literally left me with a black screen, but the computer continued to work (because the music continued to play). Then, when the image returned, that message appeared and the program closed.

Could it be a problem with low VRAM memory? Should I upgrade the GPU? I tried updating the drivers, removing them with DDU, and downloading the latest version from the Nvidia website, but nothing worked. The error persists. Currently, even though it's a short project, it still appears. Here are the PC specs.

Please let us know the amount of VRAM on your GTX 1660 Super. Also, is this happening while using any specific effect?

Hi, my old computer had a similar configuration to yours, but with the advent of the video card, mine was a GTX 1080. Most 1660 cards, if I'm not mistaken, are 6GB and their architecture is already outdated for current programs. The new versions of Premiere, which have AI effects and Film Impact plugins, don't work very well with older hardware. If it's absolutely necessary to use the new versions of Premiere and After Effects, I suggest updating your hardware. If that's not a problem, use older versions of Premiere and After Effects compatible with the year of your video card, which should work without problems. I believe that versions from CC 2020 should run very well on your hardware.

There is just one problem. 2020 is no longer available anywhere.

BTW I am using a 1070Ti cared and Premiere still runs fine even the beta.

Are you using the default gaming driver, or the preferred studio driver?

Before using DDU, I was using (and updating) the gaming drivers. After removing them, I used the studio drivers, thinking that might solve the problem.
