GPU not being used - Catalina

Testing the Catalina update on a 2019 MacBook Pro with a Vega 20 gpu and premiere does not use the gpu for any rendering or exports even when using gpu accelerated effects.

Side note- when I hook up a Blackmagic eGPU Pro, Premiere Pro does use it for everything... rendering , playback and exports even when no gpu accelerated effects are applied. Still not a tick on the built-in Vega 20.

Any thoughts?
