Growing files

Hello,

I have never tried this before :

If we have a main growing file MXF AVCI 1080i50 and we let the recorder also generate a proxy file.

Is it possible to attach the growing proxy to the growing Hires file ?

And then even while the recording is still happening do an AME export (hires export) of an edited part ?

Anybody an idea?

I can imagine it being hard to work with files in most any NLE that have not been finished / closed out.

Perhaps creating an intermediate copy will make this happen?
