Hard limitier not working since last update

I noticed that since the last update, the hard limiter is no longer working as expected. It is capped at minus 6dB, no matter what, you can not get the audio higher than minus 6dB. If I remove hard limiter audio goes higher than that.

Anybody else?

Yes, the volume on the Mix track was down -6dB. This was hard to spot. Thanks for your help.

What settings are you using?

The Hard Limiter is designed to prevent the signal from exceeding the level you specify. For example, if the Maximum Amplitude is set to -6 dB, the signal will not go above that value.

It’s also worth checking your track volume in the Audio Track Mixer, especially on the Mix track. That fader can sometimes get adjusted accidentally in the timeline. For instance, if the track volume is set to -6 dB, even with the Hard Limiter’s Maximum Amplitude at 0 dB, your output will still be capped at -6 dBFS.

Paul's right ... check the track settings and the mix track. I on rare occasions do somehow accidentally "bump" those and also then drive myself nuts figuring out what is going on.
