Question

Hardware Accelorated Encoding Errors

I have an Nvidia RTX 2060.

LATEST Studio Drivers. (Also tested Gameready Drivers)
Latest updated version of Premiere Pro

Windows 10.

When I have the setting "Hardware Accelorated Decoding" turned ON. Many of my project files get errors 81, & 39 a few seconds after the project opens and then Premiere just crashes and closes down. (Not all but MOST projects do this)

When I turn this setting OFF, All my projects work correctly without errors or crashing so my question is:

Is my Video Card dead or dying? because my other PC works fine with this setting turned on, its only on my computer that the setting crashes premiere even with both versions of the latest Videocard drivers.

I added a screenshot of my app when it launches.

The latest Nvidia drive is bonkers, roll back one. From their site, and do a clean install from their install options.

Next ... never ever use the game-ready drivers, as they add some audio crud and such not you do not want on an editing machine.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
