Hi

I'm running windows 10 with GTX 1060 GPU, AMD ryzen 5 2600 CPU but hardware encoding is still greyed out at export. is it the fact that the processor i'm running does not have integrated graphics? Which i assume i need for intel quick sync?

I have the same problem, with processor intel i9-9900K and GPU NVidia GTX1660Ti. No idea what's the issue with the hardware encoding, but I don't think it's for a lack of hardware. I've read several conversations about it, none of the solutions seems to work for me. (Sorry if I should open a new topic, please let me know if that's the case). Of course I updated to the latest version 14.2.

Hello again, I have solved my issue by updating my GPU's driver. It was quite simple, but although I thought I had done it, it turned out I hadn't. When you check through Device Manager, Windows will tell you the drivers are up to date, when they aren't. Check thoroughly and download the drivers directly from Nvidia website (link in a coment under this same thread). I hope this helps someone.

Hi there. Thanks for getting back to me. My drivers are up to date I checked before posting here. Still not working for me. It's not a major deal my exports aren't hugely long but would be nice to utilise this feature

14.1 and older builds need quick sync.

14.2 has hardware encoding for H.264 with nvidia and AMD enabled.
