Having a reoccuring disk write error because of .CFA file?

I'm having an issue where when I import/reload/replace the audio file in my project I get a disk write error. I've done research and done all of the suggested fixes (delete media cache, move the offending file to a different HDD) and nothing seems to work. I was having this problem with a previous version of the file that was actually larger in size, but it fixed itself when I restarted my pc and PremPro and re opened the file. Can someone help or at least point me in the right direct?

Thank you Ann! I actually discovered the issue right after I posted this (of course) My scratch disk had literally no space to write the CFA too, lol, I cleared some space and moved the media cache diretory and the problem resolved

Convert the matching audio to wave.
