Having trouble with green a/v tracks + no visual on audio waves

What's up with this? I still hear the audio and see the video on play. I can cut it up and adjust audio levels on the tracks without issue.

You've dragged a sequence into another sequence which results in a Nest.

If that is not the behavior you want - you want to drag the sequence into a new sequence and see it as its individual clips, click on this button (toggle it off) which chooses between sequences being edited in as Nests or Individual Clips:

You need to Render Audio on nested sequences to see the waveform.
