HDR Waveform

I recorded all my footage in REC2020. When I take my footage into Premiere and turn on the HDR settings in the Master EFX tab. When I then open the Lumetri Scopes tab and turn the settings from 8bit to HDR. The scale on RGB Parade increase from 100 nits to 10,000 nits. However, none of the color corrections I make go over 100 nits. Any increases I make to the Highlights max out and clip at 100 nits. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
