Question

Hello, have you someone already tried the new Premiere Pro AI-generated extended footage?

I have problem because the generated part of the footage is slightly color corrected (a bit like after adjusted levels or something...) I have read the manual about this feature and I do not have the original footage in any other color depth or color space then it is required... So I am confused, any ideas?

Hey Ofcourse88,

Sorry for the trouble. Do you see this problem with a specific type of media? If possible, could you share comparative screenshots of the color difference? That would help me understand the issue.

Thanks,

Ishan

*I have read this article... https://helpx.adobe.com/in/premiere-pro/using/generative-extend.html My original footage is in Rec.709 color space, 16bit depth... So I have even exported that 16bit footage into 8bit to avoid the automatic Ai-generated 8bit transition after completion. I am confused, why that expanded generated part of a footage is a bit shifted in term of colors...

I have got also the pop-up window with message... But I was also try to use 8 bit footage instead of 16bit and the problem is the same.

You should not see the dialog if your source media is already 8 bit- that seems strange. Regarding color difference in generated extensions- the AI model might not be 100% color accurate, especially if the original shot has been shot slightly with a mood (low exposure, dark scenes, bright colors like bright Red or bright Green). If you find yourself in a situation like this, you can apply a cut and use lumetri to fix it- if it helps.
