Help me please! Hand painted typography animation

Hi guys could really do with some help!

Looking to create a short maybe minute long animation/video similar to that of the style below;

Rather than just single letters, I want to hand paint phrases and have them overlayed on top of each other. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
