Question

Help moving several things ALL in one go

I would like to move all my text boxes and shapes up by a certain amount. I can't select them all.

Using a NEST would be the obvious thing, but the bottom is cut off and I can't seem to "reclaim it".

Here's a video of the issue: https://somup.com/cTjY2y8IIw

It's pretty simple, like any screen elements ... and I hope those are all in the same graphics, right? As that is far simpler to work with.

Select all in the Program monitor, then in the Properties panel, make a Group of them. Now you move the group in the Properties panel.

Thanks for the reply!

So...each element is in a group, so for example, the number 1 and the circle. But then each other element I have on a different track as a different element.

I guess I could copy them all into one. Unless there's another way to do it?

People do this all differently ... but if you're going to move screen elements with each other, it is much handie
to build them all as separate layers in one graphic "clip". Among other things, you can instantly move them all together or against each other, move position some without affecting others, set different animation routines ... but then grab that graphic and duplicate it elsewhere.

So personally, I always build text things into one graphic unless I will need to move them individually down a sequence. Or to another sequence.
