Help! Premiere Pro is crashing every time!

Hello,

I'm relatively new to Premier Pro so please be gentle! I got Premiere Pro 2020 in August for work and had no issues whatsoever with creating videos up until late November. Now nearly every time I attempt to do anything on it (i.e edit, save a file, export etc) it freezes and then stops responding making it impossible for me to use right now. 

The laptop I have it downloaded onto is a Lenovo with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.10 GHz

While there is occasionally some lag with this laptop on other programs, it's Premiere Pro that it is clearly struggling with.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I could start to fix this?
