Question

Help with Zooming, or maybe sequence?

Hello,

I am having an issue.  I am putting myself into a scene using a green screen with the background I have attached for you to see.  I want to zoom in on myself, but when I use scale, it zooms the whole thing in, eliminating my black borders (screen shot attached).

How do I zoom in without disrupting my black borders?

Thanks

Hi @mattfs250,

Thanks for the question. Try nesting the sequence. Open the nest. Do your scaling inside the nest. The black bars are preserved outside of the nest. Does that work for you? Let the community know. I hope we can help you.

Take Care,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I took all my parts and put them into a nest, when i use scale, the black bars still slowly disappear.

You can also do this using a graphic.

1. Go to Graphics and Titles > New Layer > Rectangle.
2. In the Essential Graphics panel, set its color to black, resize it, and move it to the top.
3. Then duplicate the layer and move the duplicate to the bottom.

Cheers,
Paul
