Samsung S25 video taken in HEVC ( an oversight ) When imported into Prem Pro and rendered, it does not play smoothly. Jumps, or freezes, but sound ok

Any suggestions?

Happy to take a look. To narrow this down, a few details would help:

    • Computer: operating system and version, CPU, GPU, amount of RAM
    • Premiere Pro version
    • Sequence: frame size and frame rate
    • Source video: frame size and frame rate

Note: You may need to transcode the media to a more edit-friendly format, such as ProRes, GoPro CineForm, or DNxHD, before editing.

Sorry, naughty of me. Here goes.

Win 10 (old but due to AI farms eating everything component wise, I am STILL saving for a new PC)

    Prem Pro version 2024

Mobile video was set at 30fps and HEVC, normally I use H.264 so I have not had this issue before.

I just imported it into a sequence kept settings from the phones video, to see what it looked like, either, ok, keep, poor, delete.

    Hopefully this will help you.

    Rob.
