Hi. Has anyone ever found Prem Pro dips the audio level for a second at the start of exports?  Keeps happening to me.  Maybe 4-6  dB.  Media Encoder does it as well.

Latest versions of software.  MacbookPro 2019

Are you adding any noise reduction effect?

Hi  Yes NR on the voiceover (that's the only audio track).  I don't know if I have ever tried to run an export with it removed, should do.  I had wondered if plug ins might be the reason.  I have a graphic EQ and a HP Filter on as well.

Hey Julian,

Welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear about this. Do you see this issue with a specific file type? Let us know what export settings you're using. Will it be possible for you to share a copy of the source file and the exported file that has the audio drop? That will help us reproduce the issue.

Thanks,

Ishan

I've run into the problem where a certain audio track, or parts of it, completely dropped out. Maybe it's caused by the same thing.

It was happening with variable bitrate footage that caused an audio sample rate mismatch, which resulted in missing (bits of) audio on export.

Hey Zwea,

You could have similar issues with variable frame rate videos, but the variable bit rate shouldn't affect the audio. Could you check if your footage is in variable frame rate (Project Panel > Right-click on media > Properties)? If not, will it be possible for you to share the collected project file and an exported file with the audio drop?
