Question

How come I can't use OpenCL on my AMD Radeon RX 480?

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to the Adobe Community, so.. hey! Anyway, I've been looking around for a few months now but I can't seem to find a solution nor an answer to why my Adobe Premiere Pro CC won't work with my AMD Radeon RX 480. I've seen complaints but no answers. I also cannot seem to understand, or that I find it strikingly odd is that the Radeon RX 480 doesn't show up in the GPUs approved in the OpenCL List. Another thing, when I do the GPUSniffer program, it shows my the GPU but it states it as an error since '... No Shaders found ...'

Here are the specifications:
Adobe Premiere Pro CC

2017.0.1 Release

11.0.1 (6) Build

AMD

XFX Radeon RX 480

As of the day of posting this question.

Radeon Software Version: 16.12.1

Memory Size: 8192 MB

Memory Type: GDDR5

Core Clock: 1288 MHz

Computer

OS: Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)

Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K @ 3.40GHz

RAM: 16GB

HDD: 1TB [Most Programs, Files & Games]

SSD: 126GB [OS]

Issue: I cannot use OpenCL in 'Video Rendering and Playback'

I've tried to solve this for a few months now, with no luck. OpenCL never worked, I don't know why. Maybe it worked once, but I don't remember. I've kept Windows and Radeon updated. Still no luck. Help would be gladly appreciated!

I've provided as much information as I could, hopefully this'll be answered. Thank you in advance!
