Question

How do I change the shape & position of a clip with the mouse?

Hey all.  At one point I had the ability to click on a clip in the Program window and then manually resize it, but now clicking on it does nothing.  I'm not sure what I did.

Second bit, i'm learning about the motion controls for some sketches involving panning & zooming around a comic book page.  Following the logic of the first bit (which is simply clicking on and stretching a clip to fit the frame manually with the mouse), is there a way to move the clip with the mouse at keyframe points and resize it quickly instead of going to the effects panel?

You can double-click the clip and it may go into moving mode as you saw before. You can also single-click Scale or Position in the Effects control panel and it should hightligh also.

Yah that's the thing.  Double-clicking on the clip did NOT bring up the blue box once again.  That's what's not working.  Ideas?

Only to open the Effects Control Panel, and highlight the option you want to change, you should see the handles / blue box then. You can also click the eye of the upper clip to have access to the one you are trying to modify.

If you right-click the clip in the timeline you can use SET to frame size, (do not use the 'scale' option)

I don't think that's it.  There was a blue box with a circle in the center which appeared before and allowed me to manually change the framing of the clip.  For some reason that's disappeared.
