In pro 6 - I am able to create my inital mask at lets say 0 secs to 30 seconds on the clip, then 31-60 seconds I want to do a different mask. I could do this easily in premiere pro 4.   Where I can have different masks through ut a sequence.  But now in pro 6 - the 2nd mask is not taking. It shows it the effect window as implremented, but in the preview window, it does not show the mask in display why is this in prem pro 6

Please use the correct names: the brand new Premiere is called Premiere 2026

Might want to read the manual on how to use the new mask feature.

Multiple masks are by adding, subtracting or inverting.

Use object masking in Premiere Pro

Are you running CS 6 or are you talking about a version number of a newer Premiere?

The old Prem Pro 6 does not have masks.

Post screenshot of About Premiere Pro under Help to determine which version you are using.

and of your Effect Controls window.

as you can see from the screen shot the first mask works perfectly, but the second mask is there in the effects window but it is not being implemented in the display window, you can see the task bar on the bottom which I would like to illiminate

As you’re aware you’re asking about a very old app that few have access to anymore.

Maybe you could try nesting that clip and try applying the second mask to the nest.

I’d also consider upgrading your Premiere, you’re missing out on so many amazing features.

Yes, I know it is old but I need to be able to do this simple task, which again should be doable on this great new app pro 6. I will try nesting, but it would be nice if someone could explain to me on how to do this simple task of putting multiple masks within one clip and thank you so much for your idea.  I did try  nesting and it did not work
