I tried exporting my video to youtube but it said this file could not be supported. How do I export my movie as a supported file?

This page from YouTube details recommended encoding settings for export. Also, Premiere has YouTube-centric presets that can be available when selecting the H.264 format.

Personally, I like to bump the bitrate up a bit higher than what YouTube recommends and what the presets are set to, but that's just a personal preference. Either way, a H.264 file will be supported, and the presets are great starting places if you don't want to get to deep in the weeds technically speaking.
