I installed CC aps and uninstalled CS6 apps. Apparently Encore was unistalled with Premiere CS6. I now have no option to install Premiere CS6. How do I get Encore?

Yes the program is gone not just the shortcut. And I have spent a great deal of time going all over Adobe's websites trying to find a way to download Premiere CS6... I gave up and resorted to asking for help in this forum. Just looked all over Adobe's website again and once again I can't find an option to get Premiere CS6.

1st, the serial number version of PPro CS6 is on the 2nd page at http://www.adobe.com/products/catalog/cs6._sl_id-contentfilter_sl_catalog_sl_software_sl_creativesuite6.html?promoid=KFPMZ

2nd, you are SUPPOSED to be able to install CS6 from the Cloud, per http://blogs.adobe.com/davtechtable/

3rd, an Encore alternative http://www.deskshare.com/dvd-authoring-burning-software.aspx

I'm in need of Encore terribly, is this information still relevant? I had it last I checked (about six months ago) and now I'm in need of it again but can't find it on my computer and I also can't find it in CC. Is any and all support shut down now?

This is the link for info re using Encore CS6 with CC:

http://helpx.adobe.com/encore/kb/encore-cs6-installed-cc.html

You must install the library separately. I prefer this link to the one they send you to on that page (which is an installer for templates and styles for Encore and Premiere).

http://helpx.adobe.com/encore/using/download-library-content.html

And, the link on that page to the "using" Encore with CC tutorial (Using Encore CS6 with PremierePro CC « DAV's TechTable) is broken. It is here:

Raise up the Adobe app window. Scroll down till you see previous versions. Find Premiere Pro. There you click Install. With that you can select CS6. Installing CS6 will automatically give you Encore.  It comes with CS6.

go to the Adobe app window. Under "previous versions" next to Premiere Pro, click on Install.  There you can select CS6. With CS6 you

automatically get Encore.

Hi all, just in case anyone is still looking for an answer to this (I've just upgraded to Pro from Elements and am having trouble with sound syncing up when authoring in other software so I thought I'd give the Adobe product a go) I'm a bit bewildered that they're not supporting Encore any more but relieved to find out I could just download CS6 and uninstall is leaving Encore behind. After reading various advice on how to do this I tried to find somewhere I could download CS6 but failed until I contacted the chat line and the guy talked me through it. Filters & Versions was hiding in plain sight (apparently) at the bottom of the Find Additional Apps, I'd looked there before and I'd swear it wasn't there, but the font is different so perhaps I was just filtering it out, or may be he activated something on my account? Anyway, it's easy to select it from there, I'm downloading it as we speak.

Hey -- it's still available for download on the CS6 application page:

Download Creative Suite 6 applications

Your Creative Cloud membership will authorize it -- lickety split.

An alternative, and then you show us a link to some inferior garbage??? First of all, Adobe should have never stop including Encore with all of the upgrades. A project can be Burned onto a Bluray or DVD in one step. there is no Exporting of the media to be rendered, and then brought back into some other burner ware, etc... Anyway, sometime the people at Adobe make some really dumb decisions, and this is one of those decisions. yes, there is still a workaround way to hunt it down and get Encore, but what a joke!!! Bring back Encore you knobs at Adboe!!!!!

Indeed.

But what is the "workaround way" to get Encore with CC(2015)?

If it exists, why would Adobe make customers angry because it is so difficult to find?

Why would Adobe cause loyal customers to investigate their competitors products?

If you don't have any problems with the operation of your cloud desktop, it is pretty straightforward. Occasionally that is not the case. If the following does not work for you immediately, start a new thread and we can focus on your specific situation.

This is the link for info re using Encore CS6 with CC, updated for CC 2014 and the cloud desktop install.

http://helpx.adobe.com/encore/kb/encore-cs6-installed-cc.html

It has links for getting the library (which is not installed with Encore) and a workflow with CC versions.

In the cloud desktop, assuming you have PR CC 2014 installed, you are looking for this:

If you have complete Creative Cloud with all apps you can install previous version of Premiere Pro CS6 + Encore CS6.

But if you have single app membership (only Premiere Pro subscription) you can install ONLY LATEST version of the application and you are not able to activate Premiere Pro CS6 and Encore CS6.

That was not my understanding. Can a staff member confirm this either way?

All CS6 software is available via the CC , you have an option to choose earlier version. You must install premiere pro CS6 which include Encore. You can uninstall premiere CS6 after, and just let the Encore be left on the harddrive.

I think Adobe has removed this.  Here's what I get.  There is no option for Premiere CS6.  I do have Premiere CC14 installed and updated. I need Encore!

I only subscribed to Premiere Pro CC. I do not have a Creative Cloud membership.  Does this mean I cannot download CS6 and that the only way to get Encore would be to start a creative cloud membership or to buy CS6?

Is it possible to get encore with only a 1 application subscription to Premiere Pro CC?

I do not know for sure, but this came up before, and I believe you are entitled to it.

The easiest way is to see...

First, any subscription gives you a cloud membership. Do you have the cloud desktop application in your hidden icons on the task bar?

Just select it, then see the following:

Yes, that is the best single link; same one as appears in post 30. Let us know if you have any problems.

This no longer works if you use adobe creative cloud memberships.

I think I am going to cancel and go back to avid.

This experice sucked.

the only thing that came out of it was a hasle and a headache.

Thank you adobe for ruining the local media producers once again.

I knew when I was told to avoid the switch I should have.

I want to swear at them right now..but I am still paying for this crap for a year.

Thanks
