Question

How do I install Adobe Encore?

I’ve seen other questions regarding Encore under the Premiere section. I’m aware that Encore was discontinued in 2012 but there is nothing else in the suite that I’m aware of for making interactive DVD menus and the like. Yes, DVDs are also a bit old hat with Blu-ray but I don’t have the equipment to write onto Blur-ray.

How can I download it if possible? I’ve been looking for alternatives without success.

No way to make DVD or Blu-ray anymore.

You can export your timeline as a DVD or Blu-ray compatible file and make your disk with e.g.

TMPGEnc Authoring Works 7 - The Ultimate DVD / Blu-ray / AVCHD Authoring Tool - Pegasys Inc.

    No re-enccoding.

You can also export your file as a H.264 (mp4) file and put that on a flash drive and pop that into your TV or put it online (e.g. Youtube).

Encore was bundled with Premiere Pro, so you do not install Encore as a separate program… if you have a valid license for PPro you install that and Encore is part of the install

Do you have a valid license for PPro?

This was Premiere Pro CS6 or CS5.5 or CS5 - NOT the subscription version

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think that you’re out of luck. You’re talking about a 13 year old software and stopped supporting it a very long time ago.
