Question

How do I link/synchronize multiple audio tracks to one video track?

This might be a silly question, but I'm a Premiere Pro rookie so bear with me. I'm shooting a film/music podcast with multiple commentators on separate microphones.

I want to keep the 2-3 audio tracks synched with the video track as I cut and rearrange the footage. Using Premiere 2015 CC, how would I link and synchronize the multiple audio tracks to the single video track?

I know how to merge a given video clip with one audio track, but can't figure out how to do the above-mentioned. Would I need a soundboard or some other device or is this possible with Premiere?

Thanks

Not sure if this answer will help, but I purchased a software called plural eyes which allows me to sync multiple audio files with one video. You could do the same thing with multiple videos. After I bring them back in and edit what I want out, I nest the sequence so that it one whole clip. Audio and video link together. If you sync them manually, then you could also nest them. You just select all the files you want to nest(when they're in the sequence), right click and select nest

Move the audio clips until they're in sync.  You can then select all the clips and Group them.

Thanks for the response. Is there anyway that Premiere Pro can merge/move/organize them on its own (similar to how it works to merge a video clip to a single audio track using the "Merge Clips" option)?

There are points in my podcast where multiple hosts are all talking at once. I have no problem doing it manually, but I just wanted to know if there was a simpler way available.

There is an audio sync option, but I find it significantly slower than doing it manually.  So much so that I've never been able to let the process complete.  I've always gotten impatient, ended up canceling it and just doing it myself.  Takes maybe 30 seconds or so to do it by hand.
