Question

How do I make audio waveforms adapt to volume changes?

By default in Premeire, when an audio clip is adjusted louder or quieter, the waveform on the thumbnail stays the same. In Final Cut, when an audio clip is adjusted, the waveform adapts to what I changed it to (pictures below). I'm wondering if there is a way to make Premeire do the same. So far this is the only thing holding me back from switching completly to Premiere. Sound mixing is very difficult when I'm blind to the changes being made with the waveforms.

If you use the Gain controls, then the waveform displayed changes. But not with the keyframe controls on the timeline.
