How do I *NOT* export HDR?

Hey there,

Trying to upload a video for a contest submission on Youtube. After Youtube finishes processing my video, it gives it this heavily bloomed, HDR effect and the settings has it set for HDR. There's no way to not have it turned off in my video settings. So I figure I should turn it off in my export settings in Premiere.

But I don't know what to use. It wasn't until I set my export settings to be Youtube Full HD (H.264) that it does the bloom again on the iPhone vids. And matching my Sequence Settings doesn't seem to fix it after it's uploaded to youtube either.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, the new CM setup for Premiere is a massive change. Both for the number and locations of CM options, and for default behaviors.

You may well need to go into the project panel, use modify/interpret footage and check the CM options at the bottom to see if Premiere 'sees' your clip the same  as a timeline you're using it on. You might need to change that via the Override option if it isn't working correctly.

And check the sequence CM settings in the Sequence Settings dialog too ...

And another thing ... they have HDR presets for several formats, H.264, Quicktime, whatnot ... and if you are working an HLG/PQ timeline, you need to select the HDR preset to match.

So many changes ...

Thank you, this solved it. And it sounds like everybody's been asking it, but it was weirdly hard for my Google-fu to find this answer.
