Very good, Paul. Thanks again for the help … “Reset to Saved” is the ticket! Take care.

Can you clarify what you mean by "searches"? Are you referring to the Search panel, or something else?

If you mean the Search panel, previous searches clear automatically when you restart Premiere Pro.

If they're persisting across sessions, try resetting your preferences at launch.

Note: Adobe does not use your searches or media to train AI models. All analysis and search happen locally on your computer.

Thanks for the response. Not worried about AI in this case. It’s the simple media search at the top of my bins. Some of them don’t go away … and I don’t realize there’s still a filter so when I’m looking for a clip in a bin manually, sometimes I think the clip isn’t there when it actually is … it’s just not showing up because of a previous search / filter that’s still in place. Sorry - I should know this, but it’s a little thing that bugs me big time.

To clear all filters at once, save and close your project via File > Close Project, then reopen it.

You can also go to Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout, but this may close open bins and timeline panels. To avoid that, set up a custom workspace first that supports multiple bin/timeline panels.
