How do I select one camera after cutting from the multi cam?

Is there a way to select separate angles in premiere after editing in the multi-cam?  I haven't found a way yet and have to individually drag to a different layer so I then select all in that layer. I do this because I need to apply different positions and scale to each track.

I do this all the time to globally color correct each angle.

After you've finished your multicam edit, flatten all the multicamera clips in the timeline (you can select all the clips in the timeline by making the timeline active and hitting command-a then control clicking and choosing flatten.  Then you can do a search in the timeline for the clips with the name of a certain camera and then holding the option key, use the up arrow to move then to a higher track.   If you need more detail, post back and I'll fill in the details.

oh, and probably a good idea to duplicate your sequence before you do this just in case something gets screwed up.

Awesome! Thanks so much! Saved me so much time from individually going through it!

After you edit a multicam, you can still change the camera with a rigth click  and choose which camera you want.

  1. It would be work but you could go to each edit and switch to the camera that you want
