how do I stop XMP metadata from storing confidential information?

I edited a music video with Premiere Pro for a friend of mine who is a musician. I need to embed his ISRC code into the music video through metadata in Premiere Pro. The problem is Adobe uses XMP for metadata and I heard it stores confidential information. How do I stop it from storing confidential information?
