How do you stretch a frame in premiere pro cs6?

  • Hi all, am working on a premiere pro cs6 sequence and am frustrated at suddenly not being able to stretch the frame so that it covers the whole screen, and now there is still the black background which is distracting and annoying. In the past I simply used the mouse to stretch the frame to cover the background. Does anyone have any tips on how to solve this problem?

Right click on clip and hit Scale to Frame Size.

Might want to post screenshot to illustrate the issue.

Use the clip scale in the Effect Controls panel. Uncheck the "Uniform Scale" checkbox if you need to adjust the resolution X and Y independently.
