Hi there,

I have a few info graphics that I need to spread out evenly in my PP timeline.

I know that's an easy task with text or shapes in the essential graphics panel but how do I achieve this with photos or graphics?

Create a new transparent video on the topmost track and apply the Grid Effect.

Adjust the parameters as necessary and use that as a guide.

Delete the clip, make its opacity zero, or turn off the track visibility when done with the transparent video.

At least in 2021 you can go to view and check "Snap to program monitor" for smart guides and align it there.

If you're working with it as a graphic element, don't put the image file on your timeline.

    Import the image file.
    Open the Essential graphics tab.

Drag and drop the image file in the darker box in the essential graphics tab, below "Browse and Edit".

Now you can align it like you do with shapes and texts.

To center an image you could more easily:

    1. Change units in your ruler to percent
    2. Select the image and click Scale in Effects Controls
    3. Move the image til the middle dot is aligned with 50% in ruler to center image.
