How to analyze video for dropped frames and other defects

Hello,

Does anyone have any pointers on how to analyze a video for dropped frames, repeating frames and other common defects?

In Audio, in Audition, I use "Click Detect" and "Clip Detect" to analyze for dropped audio samples.

I would be looking for similar tools, is there any in Premiere Pro?

Thanks

Alas, no such feature within Premiere.

Does such a tool even exist for video?

If it does not exist in Adobe Premiere, would anyone know of tools that would provide such features?

Maybe QC tools could detect repeated frames at least:

Dropped frame indicator

Both the Source and the Program Monitor can display an icon (resembling a "Stop Light") that indicates whether frames are being dropped during playback. The light starts at green and changes to yellow when dropped frames occur and resets on each playback. A tool tip indicates the dropped frame count.

To enable the dropped Frame indicator for the Source or Program Monitor, enable Show Dropped Frame Indicator in the panel menu, or the Settings menu.

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

I am not looking for a playback monitoring indicator.

I am looking for an analysis tool that can analyse the a complete video and produce a list of issues with timestamps.

Same as "Mark Audio / Find Silence" in Adobe Audition.

Cheers
