How to apply both an In Point and Out Point filter preset?

In Premiere CS6 I could drag both an 'Anchor to In Point' and an 'Anchor to Out Point' motion effects preset onto a clip, and both would get applied.

But with CC it seems that one will overwrite the other. So I can't use a preset to create an in and out motion effect.

This concerns custom saved effect presets.

If you drag an 'Anchor to In Point' effects preset onto a clip, it gets applied.

If you then drag an 'Anchor to Out Point' effects preset onto that same clip, it gets applied, but removes the in point effects.

Is this a bug in CC?

Is there a different way to do this?

So what I want to be able to do (and could do in CS6) is apply a motion effect to the in points and a different motion effect to the out points of multiple clips with different lengths.

I have 2 presets. Applying them both does not work. Regardless of order I select them in.

Did you try creating them from scratch? I did this and it seems to work on cc 2018.

I tested it for you and it works in 2018 the same way as in CS6.

Both presets get applied without removing keyframes.

    Might want to trash preferences.

    Hi petervanwesten,

It is still a feature in the latest version of Premiere Pro. Please check with different values in motion effects with no conflicting values.

and also try with a new project.

If possible, share us the screenshots of the settings of both the presets.

    Thanks,

    Vidya.
