Question

HOW TO CHANGE LANGUAGE TO ENGLISH AND HOW TO GET RID OF THE BLACK AND SWITCH IT TO WHITE, GREY, ETC?

Hello there.
The title says it all...

1st, I need to change the language from that PSEUDO-Portuguese to English.
I don't see ANY way I can do that, nor do the tutorials I've already watched solve the problem, or help with anything, which leads me to conclude those tutorials must be for earlier versions and not for this latest one.

2nd, I really HATE that Black, which highly strains my eye-sight and I need to change it to either White or Grey, or whatever else that is NOT Black, so I don't get vertigo after looking away from the screen or get a visual shock when changing to a white/grey window.
This is something CRITICAL for anyone who suffers from Migrains, specially when they're particularly agressive and intense, like mine.
Is there any way to do both of those things?

Because it there's no way of doing both of those things, then I'll fix the problem myself, in less than 2 minutes: COMPLETE UNINSTALL!!!
I hope I wont have to resort to that, specially because this is a Student Account, but hey, it's a Health Issue and Health Comes First!
I'm sorry if I might seem a bit irritated, but I actually am, altough, of course, none of you have anything to do with that, so, my sincerest apologies, but, please, try to understand.
Thanks.

Hi, I'm going to reply to the "how to change language" part of your questions, since it's one of the first results that show up in search engines when looking for a solution to this problem.

- Open the "Debug Console" with CTRL+F12 (or Cmd+F12 on Mac)

- Click on the "3 lines" icon next to "Console", and select the option "Debug Database View"

- Look for the property "ApplicationLanguage", and replace with the correct locale code (for english the most common value would be "en_US"

- Restart Adobe Premiere Pro

How to change language of CC apps.

And, from this page

Choose Edit > Preferences > Appearance (Windows) or Premiere Pro > Preferences > Appearance (macOS).

Drag the User Interface Brightness slider to the left or right. Click Default to restore the default brightness level.

Thanks for you your reply, but solves nothing and also is nothing I haven't yet tried.
That does NOT get rid of the Black.
See all this Black? I DO NOT want that! I want it White or Grey or Light/Medium Blue, or whatever colour that is NOT Black!
If there's a way to do that, fine, please someone let me know how it's done.
It not at all possible, then, thanks for for everyone's time and I'll UNINSTALL and NOT use this!
Same for changing the Language, because I will NOT have PSEUDO-Portuguese, I'll have REAL Portuguese or English, but since you don't have REAL Portuguese and only that Dialect of Portuguese that is spoken in Brazil, I want it in English.
Those 2 are sine qua non conditions for me to use this software, because it's ME who decides how things are setup on my machine, according to MY Preferences, not anyone else's!!!

You need to change the language from the Creative Cloud app. After you pick the language, you'll need to re-install the software.

As for the appearance, as mentioned by @Rag and Bone, go to Edit > Preferences > Appearance, and change the slider as desired. Though it won't go all the way to white, but it can give you a nice lite gray.
