Is there a simple way to convert Premiere Pro captions to all lowercase? The options only include ALL CAPS and SMALL CAPS, but not entirely lowercase. Other editing apps offer this feature. Hope you can help me! Thankss!

Currently, there is no built-in option in Premiere Pro to convert captions to lowercase directly. However, you can export your captions as an SRT file and edit them in another program. Here's how:

  1. Export your captions as an SRT file: File > Export > Captions.
  2. Change the file extension from .srt to .txt, then open the file in a text editor, such as TextEdit (Mac) or WordPad (Windows).
  3. Copy the text and paste it into a case conversion tool, such as https://convertcase.net/.
  4. Convert the text to lowercase, then copy and paste it back into the text editor.
  5. Save the file, close it, and change the file extension back to .srt.
  6. Import the updated SRT file back into Premiere Pro and add it to your timeline.

Note:
There are text editors like Notepad++ that can run that lowercase conversion on your local computer. Notepad++ also works directly with srt files. No need to upload to a 3rd party site and paste it back into the file.
